  7. What static load test do you recommend for our expected carry weight, what load and duration will be used, and what failure modes will your QC team record?
  8. What is your MOQ for natural organic cotton, dyed organic cotton, custom fabric color, each separate artwork version, and each packing format?
  9. If we split the order by regional chapter, sponsor logo, language, or destination, what additional screen charges, setup costs, packing controls, carton marking steps, or MOQs apply?
  10. Which print method do you recommend for our artwork, and what are the limitations for fine lines, large solid coverage, small sponsor text, QR codes, gradients, and wash durability?

Quality-control points to confirm

  1. Fabric GSM tolerance should be agreed before production, commonly ±5% unless the buyer approves a wider commercial tolerance in writing for cost or availability reasons.
  2. Fabric roll inspection should check stains, holes, oil marks, color variation, excessive slubs beyond the approved standard, skew, odor, shade differences between rolls, and roll-end contamination.
  3. Finished tote dimensions should be measured after sewing and pressing, with tolerances for width, height, gusset depth, handle width, handle drop, and print placement.
  4. Wash shrinkage should be checked when the tote is marketed as reusable or washable, with measurements taken before and after a defined wash method, drying method, and relaxation time.
  5. Handle attachment should pass an agreed static load or pull test based on expected contents, with failures classified as thread break, seam opening, fabric tear, handle slippage, or stitch distortion.
  6. Stitch density should be consistent at handle roots, side seams, bottom seams, and gusset corners, with no skipped stitches, loose thread nests, broken threads, uneven reinforcement boxes, or unsecured back-tacks.
  7. Seam allowance should be checked because narrow seam allowance can pass a visual review but fail during loading, washing, or repeated use.
  8. Needle damage, fabric cuts, and stitch holes at reinforcement points should be reviewed, especially on heavier canvas where over-tensioned sewing can weaken the handle root.
  9. Print position should be checked against an approved template, including distance from top edge, side edge, bottom edge, handle seam, and gusset fold line.
  10. Print color should be compared with an approved strike-off or physical standard under consistent lighting, not judged only from phone photos or screen renderings.
