- Moisture and odor: jute must be dry and free from musty smell, mildew marks, oil odor, damp cartons, or storage contamination; ask inspection to open inner bundles, not only outer cartons.
- Cutting and panel alignment: front/back panels should sit square, gussets should align, base corners should not twist, and laminated or lined panels should not bubble, wrinkle, delaminate, or expose raw edges.
- Handle attachment: inspect handle length symmetry, spacing from side seams, reinforcement pattern, stitch density, thread tension, and stress points; no skipped stitches, broken threads, loose ends, tearing, or pulling at the seam.
- Seam construction: side seams, top hems, gussets, and base seams should be straight enough for retail presentation, with no sharp raw edges, unraveling, excessive seam bulk, exposed lining, or loose overlock threads where enclosed seams are specified.
- Print quality: logo should be readable at normal viewing distance, ink coverage should be even for coarse fabric, registration should stay within agreed tolerance, and ink should not crack, flake, or transfer after light flexing and rubbing.
- Branding accuracy: confirm ink color against approved reference under consistent light, verify woven labels or hangtags for spelling and placement, and check every artwork version against PO and artwork file name.
- Closure and accessory function: test zipper movement, magnetic snap alignment, button loops, pockets, rivets, and labels where specified; reject sharp edges, loose hardware, misalignment, or weak attachment.
- Packing integrity: verify pieces per bundle, pieces per carton, carton dimensions, gross weight, carton strength, carton marks, barcode labels, shipping marks, PO references, and SKU/artwork codes against approved packing instruction.
