  2. Finished measurements: check body width and height within ±1.0 cm, gusset depth within ±0.7 cm, and handle drop within ±0.5 cm unless the approved spec states otherwise. Measurement method must be standardized.
  3. Seam allowance: target consistent seam allowances, commonly 1.0-1.5 cm depending on construction. Reject lots with visible seam narrowing, raw-edge exposure, or uneven allowance that threatens seam strength.
  4. Stitch density: for most tote seams, target roughly 8-10 SPI on structural seams and consistent top hem stitching. Loose, skipped, or visibly variable stitch density is a major defect.
  5. Handle attachment reinforcement: require box stitch, X-box, bartack, or equivalent reinforcement on heavier-use bags. Conduct a pull or load check on sampled units and reject if handle stitching distorts, tears, or separates under the agreed test load.
  6. Seam strength check: load-test sampled bags using the agreed application weight, such as 8-12 kg for utility totes, held for a defined period. Pass only if no seam opening, handle slippage, or fabric tearing is observed.
  7. Print placement: maintain placement tolerance within ±0.5 cm from approved coordinates for centered front logos unless artwork size or bag shape requires another agreed tolerance.
  8. Print quality: inspect registration, edge sharpness, color density, pinholes, smudging, ghosting, and ink contamination. Fine reverse text and thin lines should remain legible on actual production fabric.
  9. Rub resistance: perform a dry rub check and, if relevant, a damp rub check on dark or heavy prints. Fail if obvious color transfer, severe scuffing, or ink lift occurs under the agreed test method.
  10. Wash or care stability: if the bag is marketed as washable or likely to be laundered, test one approved method and reject if fabric distortion, excessive shrinkage, or severe print degradation exceeds the agreed limit.
