Quality-control points to confirm
- Measure logo position from fixed finished references on the approved sample, typically top hem and panel centerline or side seam, and record tolerance clearly, for example plus or minus 5 mm unless a tighter standard is agreed.
- Measure finished bag width, gusset, and height on a statistically meaningful sample during inline and final inspection, because construction variation can change visual logo centering even if the print location is nominally correct.
- Verify visual centering with the intended bottle inserted. A flat-panel print that passes measurement can still fail appearance once the bottle expands the lower body.
- Check handle spacing left to right and handle drop consistency. Uneven handles often make the front logo appear off-center and are a common source of retailer complaints.
- Inspect top hem depth and seam straightness because variable hem turnback changes the apparent vertical position of the logo.
- Inspect print opacity on natural and dark canvas separately. Define what is acceptable at normal retail viewing distance, such as no obvious grin-through or pinholing from 0.5-1 meter.
- Check edge sharpness, line closure, and small text readability against approved artwork. For screen print, watch for filled counters, broken fine lines, and fuzzy edges from over-ink or fabric texture.
- Perform a dry rub check and practical fold-and-reopen check on decorated areas, especially for transfers and large solid prints.
- Confirm divider seam position and gusset symmetry on double-bottle carriers so the bag hangs evenly when loaded and the logo remains visually centered.
- Load test with the intended bottle weight and shape to confirm the panel does not distort so much that artwork becomes visibly skewed in normal carry use.
