Quality-control points to confirm
- Finished size tolerance should be defined, for example plus or minus 5 mm for small pouches and plus or minus 8 mm for larger formats.
- Fabric weight should be verified against approved sample range; visible thin spots and heavy slub variation should be rejected.
- Print position should stay within approved placement tolerance, commonly plus or minus 3 mm to 5 mm depending on pouch size and artwork scale.
- Print coverage should be even, without pinholes, ghosting, heavy spread, or obvious color mismatch against the approved standard.
- Drawstring should pull smoothly through casing without snagging, twisting, or uneven cord length beyond agreed tolerance.
- Top hem width should be consistent across the lot; waviness at casing edge should be limited and not distort shelf presentation.
- Side seams and bottom seam should be straight, secure, and free from skipped stitches or open seam ends.
- Internal trimming should be clean with no long loose threads likely to catch on jewelry, stationery, or delicate gift items.
- Packing should follow SKU separation exactly so artwork versions for different exhibitions are not mixed in the same inner pack or carton.
- Carton markings should show PO, SKU, quantity, and destination codes clearly enough for museum store receiving teams to identify without reopening cartons.
