  8. Seams should use consistent lockstitch tension with no skipped stitches, broken threads, open seams, needle holes outside the seam line, or excessive loose thread ends.
  9. Top channel should be evenly folded and stitched so cords run cleanly and the opening closes evenly on both sides.
  10. Natural cotton seed flecks, slubs, yarn irregularities, and shade variation should be controlled against the approved sample, not judged for the first time after bulk production.
