MOQ depends on the supplier’s setup, fabric availability, trim sourcing, print method, cutting efficiency, and production schedule. A stock body with custom print may be possible at lower quantities because the pattern and materials already exist. A fully custom bag with new dimensions, dyed canvas, special lining, custom hardware, revised pocketing, or retail packing usually requires a higher minimum. Numbers such as 300-500 pieces for stock/custom print or 800-1,500 pieces for fully custom can be plausible examples, but they are supplier-dependent and should not be treated as universal sourcing norms.

A low MOQ quote may still be useful, but read the assumptions. It may allow only natural canvas, one logo color, stock hardware, no revised sample, or basic bulk packing. A low unit price may also exclude screen charges, sample revisions, hangtags, barcode labels, carton marks, inspection, or export packing. Compare total program cost at the same specification and trade term.

If the bag could become a repeat SKU, ask about repeat-order stability. Will the same canvas shade, strap, hardware, and pattern be available in six months? If the first run uses stock materials, document what can change on reorder and what must be reapproved.
