- Hardware such as buckles, sliders, snaps, magnetic buttons, zipper pullers, and D-rings should be wrapped or positioned so they do not dent the printed front panel; use foam or tissue separators if needed.
- Carton count must match the packing list, with no mixed colorways, logo versions, regional labels, or barcode versions unless the carton mark identifies the mix clearly.
- Export cartons should be dry, square, sealed with sufficient tape (minimum 2-inch wide, 3 passes on top and bottom), and free from oil marks, mildew odor, crushed corners, punctures, weak seams, and loose strapping damage.
- Random cartons should be opened after packing to verify folding consistency, logo protection, inner packing, strap placement, desiccant position, and absence of fabric lint or cutting threads. Sample size: minimum 5% of total cartons or follow AQL 2.5 normal level II (e.g., for 200 cartons, inspect 20). If defects are found, hold the lot and re-inspect 100% before release.
- Carton gross weight and dimensions should be measured against the quoted data before booking freight because CBM changes can erase a low unit price advantage; tolerance ±5% on dimensions and ±3% on weight.
- For humid seasons or sea freight, fabric dryness (moisture content below 8% for cotton canvas), carton dryness, moisture odor, and desiccant placement should be checked before cartons are closed.
